SportFlix ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you visit our website.

1. Information We Collect

SportFlix collects minimal information to provide and improve our service:

Technical Logs: IP address, browser type, device information, operating system, and access times. This is standard for any website and helps us understand traffic patterns.
Local Storage: We use sessionStorage and localStorage in your browser to remember your preferences and tracking parameters. This data stays on your device and is not sent to our servers unless explicitly requested.
Tracking Parameters: The sub1 parameter is used for campaign attribution and affiliate tracking. This value is stored temporarily in your browser's session storage and is appended to outbound links to help us understand which campaigns drive traffic.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected data to:

Provide and maintain the service.
Understand how users interact with our platform.
Enable affiliate tracking and campaign attribution.
Improve user experience and site performance.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Third-Party Services

SportFlix may link to external sites (e.g., streaming partners, affiliate offers). These sites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any personal information.

SportSRC API: We use SportSRC to fetch match data. Your IP address is shared with SportSRC when making API requests.
Histats: We use Histats for basic analytics to understand site traffic. Histats may collect anonymized data about your visit.

4. Cookies & Local Storage

We use browser storage to save your sub1 tracking ID and session preferences. This is done using sessionStorage and localStorage, which are:

Session Storage: Cleared when you close your browser tab.
Local Storage: Persists until you manually clear your browser data.

No persistent cookies are used for cross-site tracking or advertising purposes.

Important: We do not use third-party cookies for advertising. The only data we store is the sub1 parameter for campaign attribution.

5. Data Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your data:

Access: You can request information about what data we store about you.
Correction: You can request correction of inaccurate data.
Deletion: You may clear all stored data at any time via your browser settings.
Opt-Out: You may opt out of tracking by not providing a sub1 parameter or by clearing your browser storage.
